Time for a summer followup!

Now that we are in heat I notice a lot of "cracking" noises as I get going. I'm not sure if it's the vinyl or what, but it seems to be triggered when the A/C is turned on.

The stereo does some strange stuff when playing MP3's... occasionally it'll just skip to another song when in the middle of another, yet the display text still stays at the original song. When playing from a usb thumb drive and you skip to the next song, the first second of audio is dropped. This doesn't happen if you let the songs just play normally from track to track and doesn't happen when playing MP3's off a CD. The unit also tends to pop when you turn it on, sometimes quite loudly, causing me to jump!

On a whole, the touring doesn't seem to handle quite as nicely as my 2007 Elantra. I definitely feel the difference when taking corners at higher speeds. It doesn't feel as "fluid" or smooth if that makes sense, almost as if the car is trying to compensate for something and is overdoing it.
