Have you tried leaving the SD Card in it overnight, so it's at the same temp & humidity as the radio reader? The warm card could be fogging up the cold reader-side.
Also, does the temp guage show it getting to operating temp yet it still puts out cool air, or is it taking that long for the engine to warm up?
