OK, so I'm trying to organize some form of midwest get together/auto-x weekend thingy. We have the use of Indianapolis Raceway Park/ORP/LORI for our events, which makes it a nice, large central location with a great lot to run in. The dates open are April 3rd, April 17 at ORP and MAy 1st at Grissom Aeroplex in Peru Indiana. The two earlier dates are the ones at IRP/ORP/LORI and would be the best of the dates. These do fall on a Sunday, and we may be able to make this a Saturday night cookout/bonfire at my place on Sat.

Anyone interested? THoughts?

I would defineately be interested. I'm new to the forum but Indy is fairly close to me and sounds like something cool to check out.

It's the SCCA event, we're just using it as an excuse to get together.

if there's more in the spring/summer after I get some repairs done I'll take a Monday off and make the trip down.
... now that I legally can.
I still plan on taking a US road-trip like I was planning last year. (stupid me)

If it helps in timing your trip, it looks like the annual PIG ROAST!!!!~~!~!21`@!#!one is going to be 8/20 this year. Same setup as last year: lots of good food, cold beer and loud music, plus camping for those that need it. There will be more info posted once the date is firmed up.
