I believe it adds to the directness of the clutch action, when I installed it I noticed a nice improvement, but again that could be subjective I guess. Installation is a snap, grab a open ended wrench for the small nut (where the red paint is) and budge it loose, remove the retaining clip with screwdriver/fingers/pliers, then remove the lower nut on the slave cylinder. I'd suggest draining the system first tho.. heh-heh

If you've done the clutchvelectomy, it's one more nut and a retaining clip. If you haven't removed the valve and spring, there's no better time! Can be done in about 5min, then grab a buddy (or wife/gf) to bleed the system. Pretty straightforward and simple actually.. lol

I should probably mention these are a new bse part and everyone here has first look/chance to snag one at a better price..
