Here's a realistic timeline:
Funds transfer from PayPal to bank -- 1 week Order and receive what's still on the "need" list -- 2 business days Finish the brackets and bars and make sure everything is together and do surface prep -- 1 long day (a.k.a a week I need to schedule off ahead of time) getting parts anodized -- 1 week (est) double-checking everything and packing up for shipping -- 1 evening So basically 3 weeks minimum. -------------------- A proud member of the club.

Basically we're not worrying about the 10 any more to get started. It's still going to take the time though, as we said in the first post in this thread. We said "30 days from..." because that's basically the time we need.

Hey there guys, not sure how clear Gonzo made it but I'm his partner in all this G7 stuff.
I certainly understand everyone wanting to get their bars. When we posted this group buy with the original terms on the first post we did it specifically to allow time to pay for materials and allow for production time. That's how we came up specifically with the "shipping 30 days from the date that 10 people sign up and pay" line, we knew we would need that time and wanted to make it upfront... Now, the good news is that because some of you were so generous (thank you!) we'll be able to produce all 10 bars early! (starting now) This will take a little time but the bottom line is that it will be MUCH sooner than it should have been acording to the expectation we set in the original post. In regards to posting on other forums, that may be a consideration down the line but it won't help anyone who has paid in full get their bars faster because they're already in progress now. We'd like to keep this group buy here on ElantraClub because we think it's a great place and want to do everything we can to support the forum and Mitch. Please help us on that and we'll make sure to get you your bars FAR ahead of the schedule we originally posted. So to sum up... --- No one has to worry about 5 more people signing up just to get their bars. We're ahead of schedule because of you! (thanks again!) --- No one has to worry about timeframe, you'll actually get your bar way ahead of schedule (yippie!!) Just PM me with any questions, I'd be happy to help or discuss at any time! -------------------- Finished mods: GT leather interior, B&M short shifter, JVC head unit, OEM high spoiler, 17x7 mesh wheels, 20% tint, Tibby ultrasports, Eibach springs, Shark racing CAI, Astrel kit, smoked tail light covers & clear Kspec side markers Mods to come: Painted calipers, custom mesh grill & more things I haven't thought of!

I intend to buy from you guys but will have to wait until August due to an unplanned trip I have to make. I would be willing to make a deposit towards a bar though if it would be necessary to insure that I get one. Please PM me in order to arrange something.

You'd be welcome to sign on now but you certainly don't need to do that to get one. I'd say the presale is more geared for folks ready to pay now and just standing by for the bars. The G7 bars will be available and in stock on a fairly regular basis after this first batch is put through so no worries at all!

Just thinking out loud here. . . . but have you thought about hitting the 4 local dealers? Offer to put one on display and only bill them as they sell it? just a thought.
