Thank you all for your patience. Without any further ado, I present you:

<span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'>The Etched Glass Decal Group Buy</span>

I have always liked the look of etched glass decals. They spread the word but are fairly unobtrusive and look classy IMHO. The decals from www.egdecals.com are top quality - they are easy to install and hold up very very well.

I got in touch with Brett from EGDecals.com and inquired about the possibility of setting up a group buy for these decals. He has been patient, prompt, a great guy to deal with - and the decals are top-quality. They are easy to install, and are very durable!

I think I should point out that the suggestions I got from some of you guys, and the designs that Mitch worked out in particular, provided some great ideas and logos that will look great on our cars for a long time!

With some great designs from you guys, and some help from Brett, I am proud to offer you some great decals at a very reasonable price. I do not intend to profit from this, I simply wish to break even and spread the word!

Inside and outside? I believe the answer to that is yes.

This is an important group buy for the club, IMO. It will gauge where the club is at in terms of member loyalty and pride in the club. This is not a high ticket item by any means. If the GB does not get a large response than we know that the club has a way to go to in this area. The decals and cards are all going to be high quality. I can vouch for the quality of the decals... they are superb.

Roy is not doing this to profit. He even mentioned that any profit would go back to support this club. I ask that you consider this GB. I'm kinda a proud papa on this as Roy asked for design ideas and I came up with the card and decal "A" design layouts. If the GB doesn't go well I will take it personally!

Bikedad, I'm trying to find a pic of an etched glass windshield banner. I know cclngthr has one, but I can't remember if it's white or etched glass.

edit: here's a pic of cclingthr's decal. His is white, but it's the same general size as ours. He says his was three separate sections - two logos and the word.


If anyone has any other questions or comments, I'd be glad to hear them!

My banner is white, but it can be etched glass if you want. Since my car is red with black accents, I chose to have a opposite accent color for the decal.

I just got the business cards in - they look awesome! The detail is better than I expected. They aren't as glossy as I thought they would be, but they look pretty damn good to me.

Guys, just to update you all... well, I've heard nothing. I sent my email to Brett on tuesday listing what we want, and I haven't heard back from him. So today I sent a copy of the email to another address listed on the egDecals.com site. Before, Brett was very fast with his replies, so I'm sure there's a good explanation for this. He's probably on vacation or something. ANyway, as soon as I hear anything I will let you all know.

Not sure if he told you this, but his sticker business is his second job that him and his wife do for extra income. So sometimes when he gets really busy at home and work, he can be a little slow to reply, but he is a great guy and will reply ASAP.

I recieved an email from Brett on Monday. It seems he was having issues with one of the designs, the letters were too small for the 6" decals. He worked it out by redesigning it slightly, and says that they came out great. He also had misplaced my address, so I replied with it and he said he shipped the decals out that day via USPS Priority.

I finally got the decals yesterday. Brett emailed me and said that he had to tinker with the font of one of the images because the letters weren't coming out clear enough on the smaller decals. He sent a few extras to make up for the delay. I'll send the spares to Mitch and donate them for prizes for future contests.

I work through Monday, so the earliest I can get to the post office is Tuesday. Hopefully I can get it all together and sent out then. Thanks for all your patience guys!

I finally got all of the decals sorted and in the mail. I got to the post office late today, and I shipped everything first class, so hopefully you all have them in a few days at most. They came out great IMHO, and I hope you all like them and display them with pride. Each decal comes with a little instruction slip, but it's pretty simple.

If anyone has any issues (wrong item, damaged in transit, etc.) please let me know and I will make it right ASAP.

GOt mine today! yay! I put them on. My idea was to get two of these 6" hyundai motor sports decals and cut the "h" off and use them to cover up that korean etch on the two windows on the drivers and passenger side.. I think i suceeded.. LOoks great.. here are the pictures.. thanks again roy for all your hard work. These were well worth the wait.

lol...i found a place that will custom cut my fenders for 150...but im too cautious about it. maybe if i get some fenders off of a wrecked one.. or find some actual cut fenders to buy. but i do want some:D
