Looks absolutely amazing! What did you tap the LED's into? Are they on both when the DRL's are on and the headlights?

i have a cut off switch for my DRL . i drive only in day with white parking light and white led strip

i drive in day look like that

That looks really nice. Glad to see the correct way of putting HID's in a vehicle, and how much better it really looks.
The LED's are a nice touch and really fit the look. A lot of times LED's added look tacky, but theses have a very OEM look.

So what retrofit kit did you use and what LED's are those?

Again, great job.

Good job man, but i still would have used both as highbeam.

How hard was it to separate the housing?

Posted by: zimlac Jun 3 2014, 12:50 PM

it `s quite easy to separate with a hot air rifle(gun heater), with several flat screwdriver. you heat the back for 15 minutes and separated you from the "high beam " side first

Posted by: flcruising Jun 3 2014, 01:45 PM

Did you just heat it up again and press them together to reassemble?

I don't have a heat gun, but I wonder if they'll fit in an oven...

Posted by: slowgls Jun 3 2014, 02:32 PM

A hair dryer will work too.

Posted by: mlumz Jun 3 2014, 02:39 PM

Or placing in oven on the lowest setting. You should also reseal with new adhesive or silicone.

Posted by: zimlac Jun 3 2014, 02:53 PM

i reseal with gun heater and after with black silicone

Thank you. I see that you've taken them apart previously for the LEDs. I have an LED project that I'm building (homemade) and will be testing prior to disassembling the headlights.

Love your projectors BTW.

what have you done to get the high beam to stay off and not in DRL mode ?? I had to unplug mine, like not practical at all !

tu as fait quoi pour que les DRL des hautes reste eteinte quand le moteur est allumé ?? Jai débrancher les miennes (pas super pratique)
