Emily, the consensus is that the trip computer is .1-.2mpg over the calculated value, which comes out to a difference of 1-2% typically. Still, it's most accurate to calculate it the old fashioned way.

They told me to try it again and when I did, it worked and allowed me to punch in my information. Before, it "couldn't find my vehicle". I've put approximately 18k miles on my car since I bought it. The initial amount of compensation I'll be getting on the debit card will be around $68.
