 Why is the EC Affilliate Mall so quiet? |

This is one of those head scratchers. They idea of having a page of online stores that are affiliated with the club (and would earn EC funds) seemed like a great idea. Afterall these are major online companies like Amazon, Ebay, Advance Auto, Best Buy, Lowes and many more. In the beginning, members were using it and the club was getting some operating expense money from the affiliate program. It was a win-win. You're buying something online anyway so just click an affiliate banner and you're not only getting your product, but, are helping your favorite Elantra site.
In the past couple months it seems like this has become a forgotten part of our community. Check out May's Affiliate Mall numbers:

Well something is not going right.
I used the link from here to Advance Auto when i bought my Alternator on May 7 ($152) and my battery charger on May 13 ($62). I made sure I clicked the link here, signed onto my account on the site, searched the item, placed it in my cart and purchased it all within the same window. Nolan, sometimes it can take weeks before the affiliate company reports the income from the stores.
Also, this topic was about using links from the Affiliate Mall page specifically, not the links at the forum. -------------------- |

Oh, so there is a difference from the Mall page vs clicking the AA link at the top right of this page?

They are listed on two different pages by the Affiliate company we use. It lets me see where our activity is.
The Affiliate Mall page used to get a lot of play, now virtually nothing. That was my point. It's so easy to bookmark and convenient. -------------------- |

well just needed something from bestbuy for wifey and instead i said lemme have patience and try affiliate links. and also needed radiator cap so i went to ebay..
hope it comes thru... i know with APPs it kind of takes a little convenience to use the links.. but ima try my best to go thru the page... hope they registered -------------------- Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.

So i just bought a set of snow tires for the thunderbird thought the mall. Tirerack is a great place to get deals on tire and wheels. Check them out by using the EC mall at the top of the page.
