right now my interest rates are at 0% but if I don't pay them off by next June then back interest gets applied and I can't chance it . I really would love and I mean LOVE to be there . I can't stress that enough . If it wasn't for that fact then I would definitely be there . I wish there was another way

That Saturday is the last day of our vacation. Still not sure what we're doing, but might be on the East Coast.

I'm changing down to a maybe. Will let you know once I sort out vacation days. This will be the first real vacation with Laura since we've been together.

The hunt for the pig has begun... of course, it won't be delivered until a couple days before the event for thawing/butterflying/marinading, but it never hurts to get an idea of the cost. Hope y'all are working on finalizing plans to be here!

For those that are definitely planning on making the trek, are y'all interested in doing what we did last year and hit Krazy Jim's Blimpyburger before heading to the site? Also, if any of y'all are interested in checking out the new garage (and the house that came with it) shoot me a PM. It'll be a nice cruise from here to the Best Burgers in the Universe, and then on to the RAWK, beer and pig.

I noticed that the 21st is also the day of my wife's family reunion.

However, that's not necessarily a bad thing -- this may be the excuse I need to get out of going to the reunion (my wife is generally understanding of that). So I'll have to bring it up sometime over the next day or two when I sense that she'll be receptive to the idea of my not being there. I'll know for sure then.

So it looks like I'll be able to do this. Actually, the reunion conflict probably made it possible, or at least more so. We've been looking for free summer weekends for camping and they are hard to come by, so if this had been on a weekend that was otherwise free, it would have been a tough sell to the wife (even though I had been pre-authorized before we knew about the reunion).

Sucks that you won't be there sarge, but understandable reason.

So it sounds like it's down to just me and Brian from the ol' EC going to be at the Roast in 2 weekends... unless we can get Greg back on the bandwagon and maybe talk somebody like Bobzilla into braving the perilous drive from IN to MI. I will be there regardless... somebody's got to cut up the pig when it's done. Plus there'll be the ROCK AND ROLL to get out to the people. Hope some of y'all can at least think about making it...
