im installing a 4100nex or 4200nex still haven't made decision yet. main reason is for android auto. harness and bezel are on the way. i cant seem to find a answer to where the xm antenna wire goes into the head unit. and is there a way to use the factory xm antenna instead of buying a the kit. im finding out i might have to buy a xmtuner and thats fine. i just would like to use the factory antenna. also in diagrams im not seeing a wire for the auxiliary input. unless that's the other connector going into the stock unit. any help would greatly be apreciated.

It doesn't have an integrated XM tuner. You will need the Pioneer SiriusXM SXV300V1tuner, which comes with an antenna, whether you like it or not. I have no idea what the factory antenna cable and connector look like, so there's a chance you will need to terminate the installed antenna cable with an SMB connector to fit the SXV300V1. No, you can't cut and splice the wires. It's a coaxial cable, so it doesn't work that way.

Finally I was able to get a general location. I knew I would might have to get tuner I just wanted to know where the tuner was so I can use existing antenna. You can splice coaxed cable. But I might be able to use existing wire. Just have to remove plastic connector.

Here is the wire needed for using factory xm / sirius antenna. It is located underneath passenger side dash, Next to the fan motor. If you are like me and can't live without howard stern and don't want to stream to new radio. I will post pictures on Sat when I have radio installed will have to live without a bezel for about 2 weeks.

My imagination might be overactive, but that looks like a BCM connector. The Pioneer adapter was free (!) after a rebate in the link above, so it's worth a shot.
