My first mod to my Darth Vader Elantra Limited 2012 will be my old(not that old) but reliable Sub and amp system from BOSS(yeah you read right!).

It worked awesome in my Stratus so I did some modifications to it and will be a removable unit just in case.
Here are the pics!

Please coment.

Nice.

I have ZERO room in my trunk. I've got a swr-1243d type r sub and a 500 alpine amp.

Its in a 3 cubic box.

No damn room lol.

Looks good. What cubic feet is that box? It looks really small. Is that a 10 or a 12? Looks good though. Also, how the hell is it 1400 watts?!

Vinnie - I love Alpine. I'm playin the 1043D type R sub with a 1000W Hifonics amp (though it's 750 when running 2 ohms). Check it.

SHIT I HIT DELETE ON YOUR POST HYUNDAVE!!! DAMN IT

I just woke up and hit the wrong damn button. My bad!!!

You've got a clean install man. I need to do some tidying up on my wiring. Looks good man. I'm running some small gauge wiring and havent fix it yet but intend to do it shortly. I've got all the wiring to do so just been too lazy to do it.

Sorry again!!

It looks real nice, and the fact you still have a trunk is an added benefit!

^^^^^^^ old post that Vinnie deleted (not a problem Vinnie apology accepted haha)

What gauge wiring you running? I'm running 4 gauge.

I love my music and I love some good bass (dubstep fan) though I didn't want to lose trunk space. So my sub is definitely working for me. I love it. Hits hard but not overpowering. And the amp came with a bass nknob that I installed on my drivers seat right side on the center console. Only problem is I've found the 3rd brake light actually rattles against my back window with some bass notes. Oh well

This are the specs!

• 12-inch subwoofer
• External MonoBlock MOSFET power amplifier
• Remote subwoofer level control
• Frequency response: 20-200Hz
• Impedance: 4 ohms
• Sensitivity: 92dB
• RMS power: 700 watts
• Max power: 1400 watts

I don't know a lot about sound systems but this one really works for me!

OHHH haah okay your RMS is 700 Watts. That makes more sense. Plus it's a 12". Good brand.

Yea my alpine is 600 RMS and 1800 Watts Peak hah. But that's one 10". Good stuff though so long as it works for you, you know?
