A http://www.elantraclub.com/forum/index.php?autocom=donate has started for our 2016 club operating expenses. This covers all costs for hosting, servers, storage space etc.

I've lowered our yearly donation goal by $600 this year. I realize the club isn't as popular or active as it once was. It still is a worthwhile place for Hyundai car enthusiasts IMO.

Thank you to those who have donated so far. We are at about 19% of the total needed. If EC has helped you in any way, donate and keep this fine community moving forward.


On a personal note, this has obviously been the worst year of my life. I'm hoping it ends on a positive, please help make this happen.

Hopefully, this donation drive will succeed. As you know, it's been the worst year of my life, losing my precious wife Tammy.

I've lowered the usual goal by $600 in an effort to actually meet the goal (something that didn't happen last year). And here's the thing... I've lost everything in my life that made things happy for me. If members have no interest in supporting this community, ElantraClub has a good chance of closing. No more forum, no more EC Facebook, no more EC Youtube, no more EC Garages or EC Product reviews or EC DIY's. This isn't me giving an ultimatum, it just is the way it is.

I've given my all to EC since 2002. I'm willing to do the same indefinitely. However, members here need to step up and show they even want a community like this to still be here.

We only have $680 to go. Even if you only donate 5 or 10 dollars, it's a huge help and will help to insure this resource is here for at least another year.

I am grateful for the support. I'm still grieving the loss of my beloved Tammy and I honestly am not able to afford things without this help.

If there are any Lifetime members who haven't donated in years, please consider a small donation. Our board is still a good resource for all Elantra owners and is worth saving, I believe. Hopefully, we can be active once again.

Sadly, we fell $600 short of the money needed for the year.

I honestly don't know if I can keep this going right now as I am barely able to pay my own personal bills. Life has been so hard since my wonderful wife Tammy died last year. Thanks again to the handful of people that pitched in. I am very discouraged right now.

Between this and the messy situation over at the old Tripod site, I am overwhelmed. Please understand if I do wind up shutting down it wasn't because I wanted to.

Keep your head up Mitch, it's the only way you'll be able to see the sun. While it would be sad to see the site go, it is completely understandable. Whatever happens, I wish you the best and hope you'll keep up with us over on forteforums (I go by J-Dubb there).

My condolences mate sorry to hear your troubles, I can understand your predicament and well it will be a shame to lose this great forum I guess there is not much that can be done. All the best to you..
