Cliff spoke a little too soon. blush.gif

We had a slight measurement issue and ALL brackets suffered. angry-bangheadonwall.gif

I placed an order for more bracket material yesterday and it just arrived 90min ago.

I'll be restarting on the brackets tonight though.

Not that bad financially (~$100 for 18' of aluminum) but it took me a day to get as far as I did on them, and it happened at the beginning of 2 vacation days I took to get these done. Now we're in a crunch because Cliff has to be out of town for the majority of the next 2 weeks.

FunFunFun! We got started on them last night though and over the next 2 evenings I should be able to get us back to where we started on Monday morning. wacko.gif

AND, I should be able to get the hand finishing done before I'm out of town so they'll be off to the anodizer before all that!

I was up 'till midnight last night, but got us back the roughed-out stage!

I'll be out of town for the next couple days but Cliff should be able to do some finishing work over that time.

Throw in another evening and they'll be ready to go off to the anodizer. Last time that took 'em about a week, but we only had 3 to get done and they had to make a special jig to do the bars.

As we have been, we will continue to let everyone know how things are progressing.

For those anxious jumping0026.gif buyers: Remember that we're still ahead of schedule! B)

And don't forget about THE RAFFLE!

flcerberus had to drop from the list due to circumstances beyond his control.

Cliff got the brackets to the home stretch tonight and tomorrow night I'll be putting the finishing touches on.

Friday I should be dropping them off with the anodizer - Monday at the latest.
I'll be calling them tomorrow to get an ETA but I'm guessing it should take about a week.

saturn ... you may just get your wish, but you know I can make no promises.

Burned through all my sanding pads tonight (kept getting the edge caught) before I was even 1/2 way through with the brackets. angry-hitselfonhead.gif

It'll be Monday before I can get 'em to the anodizer. sad.gif
