Is there anywhere I can find a 2.5" cat-back for my elantra or would I have to go custom to achieve that?

I don't know that you would be able to find anything specific for a 2000 Elantra and even if you could it likely would be cheaper to have a muffler shop fabricate something for you anyways with a muffler of your choosing. The problem is a custom cat-back exhaust for a 2000 Elantra isn't exactly an in demand product. cool.gif

97-01 Tiburon catback will fit. Alex is right it would probably be cheaper to have one made.

Yeah definitely get one mandrel bent from an exhaust shop. Should run around $150 and then upgrade to a new muffler.

I don't have personal experience with this, but my mechanic advised against it. I mentioned I was considering one for my v6 cougar since it was one of the only available exhausts. He said they don't very good, and it'll probably rust over pretty quickly. He's had experience with them before. But thats just what i've been told.

Summit racing has a good cheap turbo muffler and resonator in 2.25" piping that is perfect. Have a muffler shop weld up the piping inbetween and I would be you could be out the door for under $200.
