To me, installing sub woofers in the rear of a hatchback vehicle defeats the purpose of the vehicle: to be able to carry large objects.

I have a large home audio set up as well but I enjoy driving and listening to music.
The hatch floor will only be raised up a 6 inches, so I will still be able to use the hatch to carry average sized objects such as luggage and groceries.
