Yes, available until Wednesday. Price is shipped to anywhere in the US. Canada can be arranged for our neighbors to the north. =)

The braided brake lines don't last that long, how long do you expect these to last before they fail?

*

How long do they last on average?

I'll keep my OEM rubber line in the event that the worst case scenario happens.

That's a pretty broad and generic statement sir Anti-Everything.. Care to elaborate what lines you tested, and who they were made by and fit to? Until then imo, you have no legs to stand on with regards to our lines and kits.

We have our kits made by a race shop who does Nascar among others. I'm sure there are plenty of sub-par products out there, just like shifters, you have many cheap knock-offs and only a few quality manufactures. Contrary to apparent popular belief, BSE only deals with quality manufactures, we may not have the best prices but the goal of Bills is to provide thoroughly tested, quality parts for the Hyundai community.

Like I said before, using braided for a race car is fine since they will be inspected every season or even every race. Most teams will replace them every season or for teams with limited funds they may use them for a couple years.

Do some research and you will see what I am talking about. I already did hours of research on the issue a couple years ago. If you don't want to believe me then don't. I am not just saying this for the fun of it.

I was all over the braided brake line thing as well but once I really looked into them I found out it was not worth the tiny gain if any.

I havent done research, but from my experience almost all failures of braided lines were from the early days when people did not know how to build them properly or to put the proper supports to hold the lines in place properly. This is why you could not find braided lines that were D.O.T. approved until about ten years ago. If the lines are D.O.T. approved, then that means they were built properly and you should not have any problems(for brake lines, not sure if D.O.T bothers with clutch lines). I have seen braided lines last for years on daily street driven vehicles. The only failures I have seen were on off road vehicles, where they are exposed to dirt and rocks and other abuses. Due you really think companies like Earls, Goodrich, and others would take the chance with liability if braided lines were so dangerous. It is one thing to due "research" on the internet and another to have actually used them and know others who have. Ten years ago, I would have agreed with you Jay. But things have improved since then, which is why the D.O.T. now approves properly built braided brake lines for use on the street.

Besides, isnt against the rules to go into someones classified post just to talk crap about the item for sale? Just checked, I guess it isnt against the rules.
