Does anyone out there know where I could find some tasty performance parts for my 2014 GT? I've looked around at the usual places but I'm not finding much that will help overall performance.

I would like to know if it is possible to swap kia forte struts ( which by looking side by side are pretty much identical) to an md/ud elantra or GD i30 (elantra GT). The reason beeing, my stock struts even on a 2013 are pretty much done, I can get kyb for a good price for a forte, and I also have a set of forte lowering springs that i would like to swap on my GD. I would be using the elantra top hats to insure a good strut tower fit. Theorically it would fit but i'd like to get more info, has it been done before on a elantra (or veloster ?? ) Just for your information the rear fits perfectly and I have absolutely no buyers for those springs, the kia modding scene in quebec is pretty much non -existing !
thank you.

The 2008 Hyundai Elantra Touring Beach Cruiser unveiled at Sema had a CAI installed in it and Hyundai advertised it but does anybody know what they used?

Hey Everyone!
My first post here!
I havent purchased an Elantra yet, but I will be in the next month or so. Ive already started looking up options for new wheels to replace the stock steel ones. I came across the 17" Elantra touring rims:
http://cars.about.com/od/hyundai/ig/2009-E...uring-wheel.htmHas anyone put these rims on their Elantra or Elantra GT?
IM curious to see what these look like.
Thanks for your help!!

I'm so excited that I finally got this to work that I thought it deserved it's own thread . After many, many months of research and trial and error I've finally have my Touring set up with a SAFC2 piggyback and AEM wideband to tune the fuel. The last piece of the puzzle was figuring out what wire to tap for the RPM signal, and I ended up tapping the ignition coil signal. This weekend I'm going out for a street tune with the UEGO.
It's not pretty yet, but I'll get the mounting straight later.

Just messing around with my new camcorder. Here's a quick take off and drive by clip with my finished exhaust. Running an Apollo CAI (you can see the intake tube on the bottom right in the video), 421 Maintec header, hi-flow second cat, and fully custom 2.25" catback exhaust using a 12" resonator, 26" glasspack, and Dynomax turbo muffler. More to come when the battery charges. Enjoy!

Hi, everyone -
For the minority of you all out there with an Elantra Touring, you may be interested in this thread. I've been shopping for some performance springs and finally settled on a pro-kit from Eibach Federn. This is the German arm of Eibach. These springs don't show up under the U.S. Eibach site for the ET, but they fit and look awesome. This is the only place I've been able to find where the vendor will ship to the U.S.:
Tunershop Site. As far as installation, not too difficult. Just sign up at hmaservice.com and follow the shop manual instructions.
Also, in case you're wondering, the H&R springs for the ET on Tirerack.com are
not
in stock. These spring are still "in development" and won't be shipping till late October at the earliest.
Enjoy the pics!

Hey guys, I'm new in this forum but given that it is strictly Elantra oriented I thought it would be the best place to field my question.
I own a '10 Elantra Touring SE (Beta II like the sedan) and I've fitted a Apollo CAI and a custom cat-back. I am looking to get the most out of these bolt-ons, and have considered going with a custom tuned Unichip (I live near Cinci and there's a custom tuner nearby).
Obviously, I'm not expecting huge gains here from a 2.0L NA, but I did have sort of a newbish question since I'm new to tuning the ECU. Is it possible to opt for just putting your car on a dyno and having a tech hook up to the ECU and tune (AFR, ignition, etc.) it that way, rather than blowing the extra dough on a custom tune for a piggyback (i.e. Unichip)?
I'm looking foremost for those with actual experience tuning their ECU, please, but all (constructive) comments are welcome. Thanks!!
