Ok guys, I'm working with my guy to get us some etched glass look EC club decals.

I will be offering them in two sizes, 7" long and 14" long. I will be offering two mounting options, inside (no tint) and outside (tint)

The pricing I have applies to 20 of each style, inside and outside mount. So, total sticker order would be 20 7" outside mount, 20 7" inside mount, 20 14" inside mount and 20 outside mount. I am posting this here to see who is willing to commit to decals. Pricing below is based on the quantities of 20 that I mentioned...

I found a local guy who has quite a few Tiburons. He is giving me a pretty decent price for one sway bar with bushings and endlinks, but I was wondering if anyone on here would be interested in doing a group buy. He would probably give me a better price if I were pulling multiple.

Would anyone be interested in decals again? Im down to 2 left and was going to get more made but they need a minimum order. If there is plenty of members i will get them made. If you want one please post in here and will put you down for one.

I posted this in another thread - but it's a cam pic of my new front windshield decal. I did have a 14" inside that would sit right above the passenger wiper. But now I've got this.

*I used 2 decals for this (extra logo) and my UB is a little droopy due to my error. I cut each letter out and applied them one at a time to get the angles to the windshield... except for CLUB, I did that in 2 parts. The 40" is completely straight and won't look right (IMO) if you just put it on the windshield.

This is just to see if there is an interest but I've located someone that may be able to get these for us, the M&S GT grill, I contacted them on multiple pricing but for my single order i was quoted $150 shipped unpainted. Anyone else interested in one? They told me that with at least 5 the price would be $129. I will be posting this on a few other forums also to see if there is an interest. This is for GT's only though so if your car doesn't look like the one pictured you can't use it

having a friend make them. they'll be 12in x 6in, scotchlite (reflective) vinyl green and white on aluminum.

not exactly like korean plates, but will mount on american cars and be the same size as american plates... look like the 2000-2006 license plates (same year as XD/XD2 elantras!)

each one will be hand made (custom lettering of your choice)

the more people who want them, the cheaper it'll cost to make them, but initially it's looking like $25 to $30 each w/ shipping.

Well, I have to tell everybody in this group buy, you've been great. But we have a problem. atlwteboy240 has seemingly disappeared. I've had no contact with him in well over a week. I'm totally flabbergasted. When Paul (Doohickie) stepped away, atlwteboy240 PM'ed me to help coordinate things and I didn't hesitate. I wanted everyone to get their decals. Even though I'm dealing with a lot of difficult issues in my life right now I was willing to try to do this.

But he simply hasn't done what needs to be done. I can't believe he's not embarrassed. Letting the club down. Disappointing 22 members in the group buy. I have no choice but to say he's now out of the picture.

Now we need to find a new source for the decals and here's where the problem is. I hardly had time to coordinate the group buy.. that was as much stress as I could handle right now. Going out and finding a new source for this is simply more than I can take on right now. Doohickie mentioned he might be able to get back in and possibly look for a new source but that's up in the air.

So... as of today I'll send refunds to everyone. The thing that kinda is no fun is that when members send money via PayPal, say, $15... it's really only around $14 because of PayPal fees. But I will refund the full original amount. Actually I guess we all lose because PayPal probably takes fees from your refunds, too.

So think about it. atlwteboy240 has me come in and do this. I do all I can in good faith..he pulls this disappearing act... real class guy he is, huh?

I'm sorry we couldn't pull this together. Paul tried... I tried.

Just know, I did my part the best I know how. I stepped in and stepped up so that the group buy would continue. But the guy who was going to make the decals apparently decided he doesn't care. In the back of my mind, I wonder if he still will try to offer these decals on his own at a higher price outside of this group buy. That way he wouldn't have to donate a portion to the club as was originally promised. But I don't know what his problem is.

I have all the tech details and all the bugs (that I can find) worked out of the design.

With all the time it's taken thus far, and the brackets being VERY labor intensive, I wanted to have the brackets made before I announced a group buy. The bars and the anodizing are simple, but I don't have the cash to front for it so this will be a 'group buy'.

I have always liked the look of etched glass decals. They spread the word but are fairly unobtrusive and look classy IMHO. The decals from www.egdecals.com are top quality - they are easy to install and hold up very very well.

I got in touch with Brett from EGDecals.com and inquired about the possibility of setting up a group buy for these decals. He has been patient, prompt, a great guy to deal with - and the decals are top-quality. They are easy to install, and are very durable!

I think I should point out that the suggestions I got from some of you guys, and the designs that Mitch worked out in particular, provided some great ideas and logos that will look great on our cars for a long time!

I hope everyones patiences will be rewarded here. You all saw how well the Nozzle GB went, despite the initial shipping problem which wasn't a fault of Eq or I but a greedy bastard in a warehouse.

So, with this revision comes the good that it's being handled directly by Eq and me. No middleman to screw it up anywhere down the line.
