UPDATE: I have the blank plates made. I've had the reflective green scotchlite PAINTED on rather than done in vinyl. only the lettering will be done in vinyl now.

since it'll be cheaper to do all the lettering at once, I'm going to post a photo of the blank tonight and try to get some interest going. having at least 20 or so people knowing what lettering they want will lower the price significantly.

did this one by hand... so the spacing was off and I didn't have room for all of the symbols - but that's OK, it's just sort of a proof of concept. and it does look nice.

sorry about the crazy flash. I have it under a black tinted cover and it's hard to see without flash... the green isn't that crazy - it's actually almost identical to the real korean plates. I'll take a better picture tomorrow.

redid the whole plate template using more authentic fonts

I can also do the euro-style plates (2006+) if anyone is interested in those. they'll be printed/flat like USA vanity plates, but still reflective.

The plates look pretty good mate!

Is it legal to do that in your state?
Wish I could do that to my Elantra here.

^ Is that a Samsung SM3?

Sounds so strange relating Samsung to a car maker.

no idea what car that is, just from google image search...

it's legal in the US for the FRONT of your car to have a vanity plate. depending on the state, you may also need to have your real front plate visible. in ohio you need to have your real plate visible but there is no specification on where it has to be, so I keep mine inside the car in the passenger side of the front window with suction cups.

here's a photo of my car:

I want that exact plate (1337...) or rather a placard I can place in the rear window! How much?

haha I was going to use that

I still have to go to the sign place and get a quote based on how many I'm getting, so it's a group buy sort of thing

the place I WAS going with (my friend) is sketchy at best and never gets back to me, so I'm forced to go to a professional for this stuff. it'll probably be around $20 though.

I'd be in at $20. I'm in So Cal and you're in Oh-hi-oh so who's to know if we have the same plate save anyone reading this (.00000000000000000000000002% of the population...).

yeah that's no problem

like I said, let me get a real quote. I'm shooting for $20 but it may be a little more or less, plus whatever shipping is.
