i was watching the weather channel is it really -70 degrees there? i know u use a different thermometer but -70 degrees OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: Roydjt Dec 20 2006, 03:57 PM

Heidi, you do know that Russia is the world's largest nation by area (almost twice the total area of the USA), and that there are parts that extend further north than the northernmost part of Alaska, right? This time if year it does get rather cold in the northern extremes. My aunt used to live in Fairbanks, AK, and she has some crazy stories of weather in the -60є range!

Hello world!)) I'm a newbie from Yaroslavl (Russia). I have Hyundai Lantra J2 (2000 year). It's very interesting to look at your car, we have a few Lantras in Russia.

Posted by: roydjt Nov 29 2012, 01:17 AM

Welcome, AltChrome! ...or should I say, добро пожаловать! Okay, I cheated and looked that up on Google Translate, but I mean every word of it! We would love to see some photos of the "Lantra"s in your country. It's always interesting to see the little differences between the same model in different markets.

The car is not in very good condition. Previous owner was a woman who treated it casually. Therefore, the front bumper is damaged. I'm going to modify it in summer.
