Looks like there will be a hatch version of the Forte in the not too distant future. No real details but I posted a couple shots of the prototype in the Gallery.

Here's one...

Looking very interesting!

Hopefully KIA does a better job with this than Hyundai did in the recent hatch/wagon styling changes, or at least if they come up with something cool they'll make it available here in the states....

^that's the thing... Both KIA and Hyundai have been making some great cars - but not making them available to N/A for us all to enjoy.

Seems selfish to me - but this hatch does look interesting. 4dr hatch with a 2dr coupe in the snow, sweet

The shape of the rear end looks somewhere between a Spectra5 and the i30 hatch. I'm anxious to see more.

As successful as the Elantra GT and Spectra5 were, it would only make sense for Hundai/Kia to come out with something like this. Personally, I think they should have made the Sonata into an Audi A4-style wagon and kept the 'Elantra' Touring in Europe. Most of us GT owners would fall under the current Kia target market now, so the "Forte5" would be aimed right at us.

Cool! That car is hot as a 4 and 2 door! Hope it stays that way for the hatch!

Oooh - this could be promising. I wonder what the plans are with this one and why to keep it under such wraps...
