We the 2008 se is no longer a clean car. On my way home from work today I was hit or sideswiped in a roundabout. I was on in inside lane and when me and the other car were exiting she decided to come in to my lane. Not quite sure how she didn't she didnt see me but , all I seen was her hood come into me out if the corner of my eye. My car looks way worse than hers. Everyone is ok. She was so shook up. I was pissed for about 30 sec then I got over it and called the cops. Glad she has ins. I think the car looks worse in person.

Ouch. No idea why people just can't figure out traffic circles. How hard is it to yield left and drive right? Apparently harder than I find it.

I guess the good thing is she was an older lady and not some young teeager with no ins.

This is her car. It fared better than mine did.

Man that sucks. Glad she has insurance

That reminds me of a sideswiped purple HD I fixed. The whole side was wrecked, and the body line was completely gone. And my boss wouldn't buy doors for it. So I spent a week and a half sculpting it. I wanted to shoot whoever designed the body lines.

Update. Talked to her insurance today. She said it's all covered and will be getting a check in the mail soon. So when I get it is going in for a week. That's means a rental car for a week, go cobalt. Lol.

Day 3 update, Made an appointment with the body shop. It would be able to get in the shop until February 1st. Now just waiting on the check. Looks like i will be driving a Cobalt for a week when its getting fixed, Lol. Good thing is the passenger side will be repainted, and I will have them buff the whole car. Should be all ready for summer.

So i did find out that the lady who hit me did end up getting a ticket, not sure for what but im thinking it for inattentive driving. But anyway the car is getting fixed, so im happy.

Just watch the front uprights on the Cobalt. Saw one fail on a Cobalt SS test mule that some of the local GM test people thrashed around at local autocrosses. Granted, it didn't help that they were going up this bump in the parking lot when it broke (and apparently they've done some work to/around that lot since the last time I was there).
