Did anyone install the side skirts yet? Would like to see the installation manual before I buy. Dented lower rocker panel so hoping the skirts would cover damages.

Hey-If you're just wondering if the side cladding will hide the damage, check out the pics posted here.

Figured that it would hide damage but was wondering how they are attached and whether I'll need to rivet any reinforcing like the front lip. I'm thinking I may have to fill the damage with bondo to get an even surface. With Xmas coming gonna have to wait to see how much money I have left before I make the order though I may get the rear piece first. From the pictures, looks like the diffuser is gloss black. This would be a nice match for the gloss black hood shield. I bought the shield to hide a rock ding but it was a bit too small to hide the ding.

Hey-If I still had my '11 Elantra sedan, I'd go with the rear diffuser.

I looked at the Avante Tuix kit on Ebay for the front lip and related installation parts. They look identical to the OEM lip I got. Assuming the Tuix side skirt kit is also identical to the OEM kit, looks like I'll have to rivet on some mounting hardware. Hope my damaged rocker panel doesn't cause a problem. Gonna give it a try anyway so I ordered the side skirts at a cost of $384 + tax. The Dealership also gave me a $250 quote for the rear bumper skirt & diffuser. Total cost for the total OEM body kit in Hawaii will be $932 + tax so about $971 total (no shipping charges).

Though I'm new to Korean cars, I assumed Avante is the Korean name for the Elantra. Is Tuix the name for OEM parts in Korea?

Just sold enough of my old stuff on Ebay to also ordered the rear bumper kit. May be selling OEM mud guards as they usually do not fit after installing these kits.

thumbsup.gif Yep Avante is the same car. When anybody ebay's for parts they should also look up "Avante" as you might find something the "Elantra" search misses.

Received side and rear cladding - will post pictures when completed install. Total cost for the entire car was $860.50 + tax ($896.39) from my local Hyundai Dealership. Parts Dept. wanted to see my car when I was done.
