Hi guys,

Im driving a 2011 elantra.

Recently, i feel that my steering wheel is getting a little stiffer than before. I have my car alignment done and tyres pumped but it doesnt seem to help. I dont think my car has sports mode either. Does anyone face the same problem? How do I fix it? Anyone can help?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Club!

I would check your power steering. Start with the fluid level, then check to make sure the belt is tight. Hopefully one of those will take care of it for you.

Yup, mine is running on EPS. Battery and everything in tact. What could be the problem?

Could be the EPS failing. We've had a few reports of the EPS in the FD i30 failing (same generation as the HD)
