I haven't been here in a while as I'm in "maintenance only" mode with my car. It is holding up well. It has 84k miles.

It's still on it's original brakes!

I now drive 30 miles each way to work rather than 5. I've thought of getting a new car, but am not there yet. The amount of miles I'm putting on makes me hesitant to do anything until I run this car into the ground.

It's in its infancy with 84k, just keep it well maintained and it'll go forever. I'm shocked you are still on original brakes (you must be a calm driver). My 05 (89k miles) is on it's 2nd front brakes and 3rd rear brakes and almost on it's 4th set of tires.

But I've been know to push mine a bit.

Welcome back! Don't be a stranger even if you are in the "maintenance only" zone. Glad to hear your car is holding up well, but can't believe you are on original breaks. Must've been a fair amount of highway miles in there! cool.gif

That's a good set of pads , especially for front. Rears usually last a third to half longer than the front so you've probably got a lot left on those . thumbsup.gif
